A Resounding Success: 19th Charity Tournament Bad Ragaz

On Saturday, June 10th, 2023, golf enthusiasts and philanthropists converged in Bad Ragaz to support this benevolent cause. "Handing over the cheque is always a moment of pride. This year, the amount reached a staggering 120'000 Francs," says Ralph Polligkeit, Director of Golf & Sports at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz and board member of «Golfen mit Herz». The cumulative sum from the past years is equally astonishing, with nearly 2.5 million Francs being raised, all of which have directly benefitted children suffering from cancer and their families in Liechtenstein and Switzerland.

With 132 participants gathering on the pristine greens of Golf Club Bad Ragaz, the focus wasn't just on the sport. It was primarily about supporting those who, due to their ailment, couldn't partake themselves.

The successful golf day culminated with an evening program at the gladys restaurant in Golf Club Bad Ragaz. Alongside a raffle with exciting prizes up for grabs, guests were treated to a delectable BBQ prepared by Chef Michael Pilman and his team. The musical highlight of the evening was delivered by singer Suzie Candell, who captivated the audience with her diverse musical range, ensuring everyone was engrossed and dancing.

Such days truly offer hope, joy, and moments of happiness, especially for children diagnosed with cancer and their families.
